DURATEK has been in business since 1991. Our main office is located at 816 Gulick Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii.

DURATEK has been recognized as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Hawaii.

The CEO and President of DURATEK is David Onerheim. David has over 30 years of construction trade experience. After Graduating with a B.A. from the University of Hawaii, Dave established Color Dynamics, Inc., and over the years has developed this company along with his partner, Brent Cullinan, into the leading painting and waterproofing contractor in the State of Hawaii. Recognizing a need for superior roofing and wall sealant and insulating products, David established Duratek, Inc., in order to provide building owners with the best product and installation for roof and coating products that meet the model energy codes. Duratek provides cool roof solutions.

David is currently serving as the Vice President of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, Aloha State Council. He served as the Past President and Secretary.

David is also a member of the following organizations:

Honolulu Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Hawaii, National Federation of Independent Business, Steel Structures Painting Council of America, Honolulu Chapter, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Aloha United Way / Make a Wish, HCC Apprentice Instructor 1985-97.

State and National Awards:

Hawaii Small Business Person of the Year 1991 by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Blue Chip Enterprise Award 1992 by the US Chamber of Commerce.
